Proposal: Gig-gly / Share-to-Earn $RLY

Mission

Our goal is to help people find jobs they love and empower employers to build world changing teams.

Problem

200M+ people unemployed
100M+ global job opportunities
50% of 3B people in the global workforce are unhappy with their current job

Every day, people are exploring job opportunities on company websites and on job boards. If they choose not to apply, they are not incentivized to share those jobs or to refer someone they know. They leave the site and someone they know might have missed out on learning about the opportunity of a lifetime.

Solution

Crypto rewards using smart contracts for referring people to job opportunities and for helping to amplify those opportunities across social channels. Refer-to-Earn and Share-to-Earn.

Job seekers and individuals with social and professional networks will be rewarded with $RLY when they share job opportunities on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Product

Gig-gly is a crypto-powered recruitment platform for web3.

The platform is built on Polygon and the token is $GTR (Gig-gly Token Rewards).

Employers can use our free Applicant Tracking System to power the Careers page on their website.

We have created smart contracts that reward users with tokens when they set up their profiles and we enable employers to automate and tokenize referral rewards.

We will be introducing smart contracts that reward users with tokens when they share jobs on Twitter and LinkedIn.

The ATS serves as a tool to build out the jobs and talent marketplace.

We have a Social Impact program in place where we will donate 10% of Referral Rewards using BTC to local and international NGOs supporting those who do not have jobs, food and shelter.

Roadmap

Q2 2022

  • Community building on Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok

  • Onboard 100 web3 employers and 10,000 users on to the platform

  • Partner with web3 communities and DAOs

Funding Request

$100K in $RLY of which $50K in $RLY will be used to reward users for “Share-to-Earn.” The remaining $50K will be allocated to Engineering and Marketing.

UI / UX Designer: $5,000
Full Stack Engineer: $15,000
Front End Engineer: $10,000

Marketing Budget: $20,000

Instagram / Facebook: $5,000

2. How do you determine what jobs get what rewards? How many rewards would you get for sharing and how many rewards would you get from referrals?

Sharing of all jobs on the Gig-gly platform are eligible for rewards.

Sharing 1 job on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook is rewarded with 1 $RLY

Referral Rewards for successful hires are paid out in $GTR and the reward amount depends on the Employer and / or Job Position

3. What is the maximum amount that you would get in RLY?

Share-to-Earn Rewards are currently limited to 3 tokens per minute and 10 tokens maximum per day.

4. What other tokens will they support in the future?

In the future, will will enable employers who have their own tokens to distribute Referral Rewards for successful hires in their own native tokens.
